30/12/2010 Paul Cézanne's card players at the Courthaud Gallery

It has been a while since last time I went in the Courthaud Gallery which is quite unfortunate as it's one of my favorite museum. Fortunately, the Courthaud Gallery is curently featuring a one room exhibition about Paul Cézanne's card players which was enough to light on my desire to go back.

I love above all else the apperance of people who have grown old without breaking with old customs Paul Cézanne

The approach taking by the curators is to explore a single topic and observe Cézanne interest for the card players topic and explore his creation process.

One room it not much but the Courthaud Gallery contains one of the richest collection of paintings and drawing in the world, Camille Pissarro, Pierre Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, Van Gogh and of course more Paul Cézanne which makes a visit of the Courthaud Gallery always unmissable.
