My name is Christophe Riccio. I am a graphics programmer (as a job) and a photographer (as a hobbie) dedicated to computer graphics: real-time, offline, image processing... any kind! I'm also known as Groovounet or Groove on some forums.
I'm currently working for Imagination Technologies within the PowerVR Researsh Group on the future PowerVR Series 6. PowerVR provided chips for PC between 1996 and 2001, Dreamcast and is now dedicated to the growing embedded market. PowerVR MBX and SGX chips are used in iPhones and most smartphones. PowerVR SGX chip is going to be used in Sony PSP2!
I have previously worked for e-on software on Vue, a scene compositing and rendering software. It has been use for adverticing, architechture or movies (Pirates of the Caribbean II, Indiana Jones 4, Kunfu Panda, Terminator 4, etc...)
On a technical point of view, I like C++, OpenGL, XML, software design, multithreading, etc... On my creative part, I like Küken pictures but generally exploring all sort topics and the creation process. I'm mainly inspired by painters and contemporay art and spend as much time as I can seing exhibitions.
Finally, I'm the author of G-Truc Creation website, design and most importantly content: my amator projects, articles, code samples, photographs and whatever I want to include. My most fanous projects are GLM and the OpenGL 3 Samples Pack which are use worldwide by university and companies.
